Alberto Gonzales
Mood:  not sure
This is tough for me to put out here, but I cannot support the nomination of Alberto Gonzales for Attorney General. The thing is, I like tough looking Attorney Generals (Ashcroft, Reno). Although Alberto talks a pretty tough game sometime, he just looks like he should be fixing the President's drinks, or perhaps clearing the dinner table. Maybe its just that there's a waiter at the cantina up the street that looks just like him, but I don't know. Let's hear your thoughts.

superhaha,
How is this racist? Look at the two pictures above, they obviously look alike. If it was two white guys, it wouldn't be an issue, so what's the problem with two Hispanics looking alike?

Al,

I think those people like to be referred to as "Latinos."

Whatever. They're all Americans to me, as long as they're legal anyway.

Do you know who would be a great Latino Attorney General? Jimmy Smits. Remember from LA Law? He'd be perfect, except that he may never have been to law school. Then again, maybe it's helpful to have an "outsider's" perspective, instead of running around in the Washington Fat Cat circles. Besides, he's been in LA Law, NYPD Blue, and portrayed numerous drug dealers, which gives him fmiliarity with all sides of the law. I'm all for it. Smits for AG!
